So I always get excited when I see new scents at Body Shop and I've been a loyal customer for years. I couldn't wait to try the poppy scent...but found it odd when I walked into the store and saw free samples at the front door. I've never seen that before. And now I know why. It smells awful. Definitely more smoky than anything and masculine for sure. It smelled like burning bad incense. I didn't even open the free sample and couldn't get the smell off my hands. I couldn't run the mall restrooms fast enough to wash it off. No thanks!

First off, I am a body shop body butter junkie. This was my first move into other products and I'm surprised by the negative reviews for this. I love, love the smell. I've got really fine and straight hair (but a lot of it) that gets weighed down and greasy by the end of the day so I don't usually like a lot of products in my hair to make it worse. I use a few sprays after towel drying my hair and it's a decent detangler. Not the greatest, but no worse than the drug store brands I use. What wins for me is that it makes my hair SO SOFT. I'm at the point where I need a haircut badly, but I'm trying to wait a few more weeks till closer to the holidays. So I started using this product a few days ago and my hair feels a world of difference!! No more crunchy, dry ends. It's never been this silky and smooth and soft before, it's almost like I just got a shampoo at the salon.
I never leave reviews for products, but after seeing a few negative ones I felt I def needed to speak up. If you don't get this for the detangling, get it for the softness it will add to your hair for sure!
