Ok...I am seeing reviews on this product saying everything from 'old lady smell' to 'wheat oil smell' to 'tea rose smell' to 'baby powder'.
I do not think it smells like 'old lady smell' although I am in my early 50s so some may argue that my opinion is slanted just a bit! ;-) (Ha!!) To me it has some of the notes that are in rose-scented creams, but there is something else here that is lovely and soft and feminine and reminds me of lace and those characteristics attributable to a sophisticated lady.
While the Vitamin E Body Butter may not appeal to the 'under 20 or even the under 30 crowd' I think it is important for The Body Shop to offer a full range of products (not just for all skin types) but for ALL AGES. Otherwise, you will simply become just like the 'other' body care store at the other end of the mall that is filled with teenagers and products that smell like cotton candy. Nothing against teenagers, but as we all get older, we need a body product store that offers a full range of scents and skincare for gals and guys of every age.

Not so Good for Me.....

This was my first experience with a "BB Cream" This Vitamin E BB Cream smells wonderful and the moisturizer in it is terrific and so for this reason alone, I gave it a '3'. For gals with 'clear skin' this is probably a fabulous product for a quick, on-the-go routine.
However, I have freckles and an uneven skin tone that needs a more full coverage foundation, I wish there was a product that combined a moisturizer with a more 'full coverage foundation' available so that those of us with uneven skin tone could keep our 'day off routines' a bit more simple and quick. If anyone can recommend something, let me know!
Also, since the "Moisture White Shiso" skincare line is only available online, I hesitate to order. I would like to try it to see if it will help even out my skin tone. I hope they extend that line to stores in the U.S.

Pick up our tropical, mango scented scrub, to buff away dead skin cells, leaving your skin supremely soft and refined. It's sugary texture and fruity scent adds a touch of luxury to your exfoliating routine.

I have Dry Skin - even in Summer because I swim and do the hot tub thing a lot and so my skin needs extra nourishment. First, the smell of the Mango Scrub is absolutely delicious and so refreshing and perfect for Summer! I usually like fresh or floral scents and most of the time these fruity scents remind me of a teenager. I prefer a more sophisticated scent, but this one is so Fun and Fab. Ok, in terms of the scrub itself, It is wonderful for those little areas on the back of one's arms that pop up from time to time - they simply go away! This particular scrub is specifically made for people with Dry Skin so it leaves a feeling of moisture on your skin to where you don't even need a lotion or cream after....but it is wonderful to layer with the matching body butter so that the scent stays all day. I put it on in the morning when I shower, and with the added body butter, by mid-afternoon I can still catch a fun whiff.
Please Note If you have oily or combo skin this may not work for you - The Body Shop has products for all skin types - it is important to use products designed for your skin type - otherwise a fabulous product may end up with a bad review!

Do the V C capsules help even out skin tone and hyper pigmentation?

I have dry skin so I cannot use the Tea Tree or Seaweed products and the Shiso line is only available online so am wondering if the Vitamin C caps or Boost will help???

I own the Limited Edition Vitamin E Aqua Boost Sorbet, and I am in love with the scent. By any chance, does the Vitamin E Body Butter smell identical?

Thank you so much for your time!
I own a tub of the Vitamin E Body Butter, as well as the gentle face cream, toner, day cream, night cream, and the face mist (which absolutely rocks) plus some samples of the serum. They all smell very similar to each other BUT not exactly the same as each other. Somewhat of a light, soft, feminine scent, almost with a hint of rose, but not quite....anyway, I am not sure what the sorbet smells like as I do not use sorbet (my skin is dry) but all of this line that I have used thus far smells wonderful and I love the Vitamin E body butter.

I have many of the other body butter scents and use them during the day (switching out depending on the weather and my mood) but for night time before bed, the Vitamin E is very soft and relaxing and just puts me in the mood to fall asleep!

I definitely recommend it!! ;-)

Hope this helps!

An instant cooling sensation for all day hydration. This silky-soft moisturizer hydrates and refreshes skin with an ultra-light formula

Dry skin

Does anyone know if this will help dry skin.My facial skin gets dry and I am struggling to find something that works long term.My other vit e creams don't work as well as they used to so I am looking to try something new.
I also have dry facial skin and I love the Vitamin E skincare line from The Body Shop. However, because my skin is Dry, I gravitate towards creams rather than sorbets and definitely the original Vitamin E formula rather than the Aqua Boost, which I have sampled and is too light for my dry skin. Try the Original Night Cream - I even use that one during the day when I am feeling extra dry and it is wonderful. Hope this helps! ;-)
